Thanks for your message. It's very difficult for us to choose because there are a lot of beautiful outfits each week but we can't take all, sorry ;-) But it doesn't mean that your outfit are not good, perhaps you will win next time !

I don't understand...

I just entered my doll a few days ago for the Katheryn Winnick contest. I thought the contest was to create an outfit in the likeness of said celebrity- but looking at the winners, I have NEVER seen Katheryn Winnick wear any of those outfits the winners have made. Right now, she is most known for her role in Vikings, so naturally I designed a viking inspired outfit complete with sword and shield... but seeing the outfits that were chosen really aggravated me. I guess the likeness of the character the celebrity portrays doesn't matter... just how "colorful" and "shiny" you can make the outfits does. Most of those outfits are "rinse and repeats" and lack creativity. I guess next time Doll and the City puts out another competition of a celebrity, who at the height of their career plays a strong and independent female lead, I'll just knock her down a few pegs by putting her in tulle and silk and rainbows with glitter, which is apparently what is needed to win the competition.

I mean really... in what role was Katheryn Winnick a damn belly dancer?!? Be real.
I don't even want the doll money- I just want to put out an outfit that would do that celebrity and the role they play some justice, and maybe stray away from the unrealistic feminine look most of these costumes convey. I'd like to see a Joan of Arc doll... be diverse.

/end rant
