Postby Stephanie_Valentin » Mon Mar 01, 2010 3:20 pm

The names for the clothes shops have been chosen, thanks for your help ;-)

Fashionista; Citymen; Fairy Tales; Lovelita; Citystyle; Aphrodite; Dollympia and Black Cat

Now I need your help to find a name for the other shops :

If someone could translate the shops description in english, it would be very nice, thanks!

4) Fleuriste, pépiniériste : Valentine's Day?

C'est la spécialité "made in Dianou" ! :D

lol. "doesn't read french but tries anyway"
since i can't try to think up names otherwise, i did my best translating them with several different online tranlators and a couple people i know who take french class. please tell me if this is about correct. ^^

English:
1. Store for (interior?) decorating, ambiance
2. Music Store
3. Textile store (curtains, tablecloths, cushions…)
4. Florist, garden center
5. Furnishing (settees, luminaries, beds…)
6. Pet shop
7. Material of Fine Arts
8. Furnishing and accessories for the kitchen
9. Furnishing and accessories for the bathroom
10. Tiling, walls, paper-painted, windows, doors…
11. Computer equipment, camera…
12. Sports equipment

wow, all that and i can only think of one. for the pet store maybe it could be called: "all creatures great and small"? its the name of a classic book, don't know how well known it is everywhere. :)

Thanks a lot for the translation :D
For the name, we need short names to put on the shop because when you are in the city, shop are pretty small (before clicking) and you need to read the name ;)

I'm horrible at naming things but...

1. Store for interior decorating: The Finishing Touches
2. Music Store: Musicality
3. Textile store: ?
4. Florist, garden center: Floristically or Flowerinesses
5. Furnishing: ?
6. Pet shop: Animalization
7. Material of Fine Arts: Artistry
8. Furnishing and accessories for the kitchen: ?
9. Furnishing and accessories for the bathroom: ?
10. Tiling, walls, paper-painted, windows, doors:
11. Computer equipment, cameras: Technological
12. Sports equipment: Athleticism

Uhh... I suck haha. I would be better at slogans than names.

P.S. I have this thing for 13 letters words. I keep a list of them which is 39 pages long, which is 13 x 3. It's also 3^1 + 3^2 + 3^3 and the sum of 5 prime numbers in a row (3,5,7,11,13). Sorry *nerd moment* I'm random.
